Sydney West Netball Championships
Today the CHPSSA Netball team attended the Sydney West Championship at Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium. The team did an outstanding job and finished in second place overall!
All of the girls should be super proud of their efforts as we played 9 games in total, 8 of them being back to back with no break. Considering all of our trainings were rained out, they were able to quickly navigate their way through the games and understand how their teammates played. The girls had great sportsmanship at each game and were always cheering each other on from both the court and sidelines. We had a close game between Ridges, as it was a tied game all the way up the last second. Just as the buzzer went, Ridges got a penalty shot right under the ring and scored.
Four girls were then selected as possible players for the Sydney West team and were asked to play another few games. Congratulations to Violet K, Ruby G and Adelaide R who all made the Sydney West Team!
