Each year Castle HIll PSSA runs four Zone Carnivals. Affiliated schools take turns in organising the Zone Carnival based on the roster below. Each year Castle Hill PSSA runs Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics and Teams Carnivals.

Schools will organise their own carnival prior to the Zone Carnival and send entries to the organising school.

Generally, schools will send on their top two competitors for each event in Swimming and Athletics (based on them reaching qualifiying heights/distances/times). In Cross Country, a team of six students from each age groups are sent on to the Zone Carnival.
