2023 Netball Championships
Monday 8 May saw the Zone Netball Championships held in South Windsor at Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium. All CHPSSA girls deserve a big congratulations as they ended the day undefeated and placing first out of 11 zones. The team spirit was high during all games, even as they reached the final few matches. They were always respectful to each other and other teams. The girls played a total of 10 games and were quick to get the hang of each other’s movements throughout the game, displaying fantastic teamwork.
As the day came to an end, the Sydney West coach asked five CHPSSA players to stay and play a few more times as possible players for the team. The following girls were successful in making the Sydney West team and will be travelling to Port Macquarie in July. Well done to Amelia B from Samuel Gilbert, Zoe L from Beaumont Hills and Scarlett P from Glenhaven.
