Trials Day
Castle Hill Zone holds a Trials Day early in Term 1 each year in order to select representative teams which then compete at Sydney West Championships throughout the year.
Individual students, selected by their schools, trial in the hope of gaining a place in CHPSSA representative teams. On occasions, there may be the need for call-backs or a training squad if the talent on display is high and selectors find it difficult to make a final determination during the allocated time.
Children aged 11-13 are eligible to be nominated by affiliated schools. Exceptionally talented 10 year olds may be accepted by special request only.
