Sydney West Basketball Championships

The Sydney West Carnival for the Boys and Girls Basketball was held on 30 March, 2022

I wanted to send through a big congratulations to all the students who represented our zone at the carnival.

The girls team did a fantastic job, especially for most of the girls being netball players. They made it to the semi-final where they unfortunately lost but should be very proud for making it that far.

The boys team won the championship, winning in a tight and intense grand final. Thank you to Greg Luther from Sherwood Ridge Public School for coaching the boys team.

An extended congratulations to Joshua from Samuel Gilbert Public School and Xingwu from North Rocks Public School who were selected to be a part of the Sydney West Boys Basketball team. These two players will head off to Tamworth for the championship later this year.
