Basketball

Basketball continues to be a very popular sport with 18 schools across the zone taking part in the Basketball Summer PSSA competition in 2024. Basketball takes place in Terms 1, 3 and 4 of the school year. Each school is able to enter one boys and one girls team. Each team is classified as an ‘opens’ team, with any students from Years 3-6 being able to play in the team.

We are very lucky to have access to some of the best indoor basketball court facilities in NSW. The majority of the games are played out of the Hills Basketball Association, which is located in Fred Caterson Reserve, Castle Hill. We are also very fortunate to also be able to use 2 brand new indoor basketball courts at Bella Vista Public School. Due to our expanding numbers, some games will also be played at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex.
