Sydney West Boys Football Championships

On Monday 30 May, the boys CHPSSA football team were crowned champions alongside Ridges PSSA after a gutsy 0-0 final in the Sydney West PSSA Boys Football Championship.

The boys began the day with a 1-0 win over Wentworthville/Seven Hills. This followed by wins over Auburn (1-0) and The Blue Mountains (2-0) teams. They finished the first round with a nail-biting 1-0 win over Mt. Druitt, scoring the winner in the final seconds of the game.
Topping their table, Castle Hill then faced Penrith in the semi-finals where, locked goalless in regular time, they went on to score the winner in 5 minutes of extra time.
The boys faced Ridges PSSA in the final in front of a bumper crowd. The boys played their hearts out to a 0-0 draw, meaning that they were crowned co-champions alongside Ridges PSSA and successfully completed the tournament without conceding a goal.

Congratulation boys!
