2025 Sydney West Basketball Championships

On Tuesday 12 March 2025, The Castle Hill Zone PSSA basketball teams showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship at the Sydney West Basketball Championships. Our students played with great determination and enthusiasm, demonstrating teamwork and respect throughout the day. Their hard work and commitment paid off, leading to a series of successful games that highlighted their skills on the court.

Both the girls and boys teams finished in 1st place in their pools after the round games. In the semi-finals, the boys faced a tough match against the Ridges, narrowly losing in a very close game. Meanwhile, the girls team showcased outstanding teamwork, winning their semi-final match against St Marys and earning a spot in the grand final. They came up against the Ridges in the grand final and had a great comeback in the second half, but unfortunately lost to a very skilled opposition. A big congratulations to the girls team for being the runners-up for the day!

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their enthusiastic cheering and support, including helping with bench duties throughout the day. Your contributions made a significant difference!
